District Attorney Brooke Jenkins visited SI government classes on April 20th in order to help students understand complex issues facing the criminal justice system in San Francisco. The following topics were discussed during the Q&A session: increased juvenile crime rates, property theft, police shortages, rehabilitation, violence toward the elderly and the Asian community. Ms. Danielle Devencenzi, Asst. Principal for Academics remarked about the visit, "Students did a wonderful job asking high level questions to further their understanding of the system."
